I'm back with another Barry M Lip Paint this time it is a bright orange almost peach hue.
Barry M shade 54 is marketed as Peach but I think it leans more Orange don't you?
It is quite neon and stark on but I strangely like that, i'm biased when it comes to corals though!
The pigmentation is really good for what is essentially a drug store brand.
I think for most this will be a miss as it is matte and as mentioned really bright
but if that concerns you, you can tone it down with a swipe of gloss
and by blotting your lips after application.

The Barry M lipstick formula can be a little hit and miss,
some shades can be rather drying and a layer of lip balm before application is a must
yet others have a slightly glossy finish and feel and are not quite as drying.
The annoying thing is Barry M lipsticks don't come labelled as to what formula they are,
some are definitely more matte or glossy than others and the only way of knowing
is to swatch or blind buy in the hope that you have a shade with a decent formulation.

Shade 54 is fairly well pigmented it applies opaque in one swipe,
it applies evenly and does not pull or tug at the lips.
This is one of the shades that is matte formula so it is a little drying and can be chalky at times.
It is quite comfortable on the lips and I did not feel the need for a balm before application
but I do tend to feel my lips have dried out if I wear this for a full day.
I do love orange/peach shades and with a tan in the summer months,
pretty much all summer long I will be rocking a shade in this vain if not this exact one!
