Seasons change and with it they bring new collections,
I much prefer the Spring/Summer collections over the Autumn/Winter offerings.
Why?
Hello...lots of coral shades that are so often prettily packaged
as is the case of No.7 Vital Brights Cream Blush in Blossoming Pink,
which is part of No.7's limited edition spring line that has just launched.
No.7 Vital Brights Cream Blushes come beautifully presented in square plastic cases
adorned with a bright floral pattern that is very modern and chic.
Okay the case is plastic and has no mirror but it is sturdy
and the inner girly girl in me just wants to squeal at the pretty flowers!
I have no idea why Blossoming Pink has pink as a descriptive as it very much a bright coral!
It is a warm coral with an evident orange tone, a very me shade indeed.
If the shade in the pan is a little to intense and worries you, I say fret not
as with all cream blushes this can very easily be blended away to almost nothing.
The texture of this blush is very light and requires very little effort to apply.
It glides on with such ease and is a breeze to apply be it with a brush or fingertips.
As the blush pan is fairly small I did find it a little easier to apply with my fingertips rather than a brush
but that is just personal preference you may want to experiment and see what works best.
When initially applied the shade does have a high sheen finish but it dries down fairly quickly
and when it does it settles to a lovely dewy finish.
I found the pigmentation to be quite high which is great for deeper skins
but lighter skins can blend this down to suit their taste.
I have oily skin and find cream blushes to be the best option as they last so much longer,
this shade wore a full 10 hours without any signs of fading.

I hope you pick it up :)
DeleteThe pan looks really small for the size of the packaging. I've recently just rediscovered my love for cream blushes with Topshops 'Flush' so I'll definitely be having a look at this next time I'm in Boots though. Hopefully they'll have a few other shades to play around with xx
ReplyDeleteAh I love topshop cream blushes :) yes there is another shade that is a true pink :)
DeleteStrange! I just uploaded a post on the 'Blooming Pink' Lipstick from the Vital Brights range. Have a look www.absolutleybeautiful.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI was eyeing up the blushers too but after trying Topshops cream blush I am not sure whether I like the effect of cream blush, I feel powder blushers last longer on me.
xxxx
haha how odd :) I shall have a look now :)
DeleteIf powder blushes work best I say stick with them :)
I would buy this just because I like the look of the packaging lol. I'm feeling to try a cream blush as I do think it could look nice on darker skin

DeleteYes this shade would be beautiful on your skin tone :)
I'd love to try a cream blush but i'm a bit scared!
ReplyDeleteWhat brush do you use with them? x
Oh no just go for it I promise it is worth it :)
DeleteI use a stippling brush such as a Mac 187 :)
It looks like it's very pigmented! Love how it doesn't have a total matte finish, and right up my colour alley too! xo
ReplyDeleteIt really is :)
DeleteI agree a mirror would have been nice :)
