Joliebox skipped the January edition and hit February hard with a re-vamp!
I really like the little drawstring bag, the sleek packaging is much more refined
and really suits the French brand in my opinion.
This months box theme is "Nice and natural from top to toe..."
So what was inside and what are my thoughts?
Jane Iredale - Just Kissed Lip and Cheek Stain in Forever Pink
This is an all natural balm that can be used on both the lips and cheeks.
It works with your natural skin and lip tone to produce a shade best suited to you,
on me it yields a deep berry tone which is nice yet natural at the same time.
It feels pretty much like a balm on the lips but on the cheeks it feels too greasy for my liking
and not a way that I would utilize it, on the lips it feels moisturising and is comfortable to wear.
Lavera - Basis Sensitive Organic Hand Cream
The first thing I noticed about this product was the lovely aquatic scent,
so many hand creams are floral based but this one has a beautiful fresh scent.
On the hands it is moisturising but light and non- greasy the size is also perfect for travel
or just chucking in your hand bag for on the go hydration.
I surprisingly like this more than I thought I would and I am consdering the full size product.
Macadamia - Deep Repair Masque
I have used this before when I owned the full size version
so I can happily say that this is a lovely hair care treat.
If you have dry and damaged hair then it will adore the added moisture and repair benefits
but if your hair is normal then you can enjoy the added shine and bounce.
A great product that I will more than likely repurchase in the future.
Kimia - Rejuvenating Facial System
In all honesty the product sample size is far too small to gauge how well it will perform.
I managed two application but other than my skin feeling a little moisturised I can't say much else happened.
I'm sure the full size products are great but I can't say I feel one way or the other about this sample.
Taaj - Himalaya Micellar Water
This is an antioxidant and tonic make-up remover that claims to revitalise and purify skin.
I have used this a few times and found it to be gentle but removed my make-up with ease.
Unlike some liquid cleansers my skin did not feel tight and uncomfortable afterwards.
It also smells lovely so much so I have cast it aside for my travels a little later on.
So that is my thoughts on this months box, what did you think?
Joliebox costs £10 per month.
Beauty boxes internationally seem better than the american ones.
ReplyDeleteI think it is a case of the grass is greener because I always think the same when I see US ones haha :)
DeleteI really liked this months JolieBox.
ReplyDeleteAfter I got over the initial disappointment of the lack of any good full-size product, I actually looked at what I had received and I'm really pleased with it all :) I love the make up remover. It smells like fresh lemonade!

DeleteThis is the first Jolie box Ive had and Im really happy with it xx
ReplyDeleteso glad you enjoyed it too :)
DeleteThat lip colour looks really lovely, and I'd love to try out the Taaj water. Being skint and lusting after a Jolie box subscription is no fun! Really good review, sounds like a great box this month :-)
ReplyDeleteThe Taaj water is really good :) ah that really sucks I hope you get the chance soon :)
DeleteI got this and I have to say I wasn't wowed by it. I like the taaj water but I feel the money I spend on subscription to beauty boxes would be better used on full sized products I actually want and need.
ReplyDeleteThat is a fair point :) are you going to un-sub?
DeleteAh I never tried the Feel Unique box sadly but JB is a lovely box :)
ReplyDeletemaybe give it a little go?
yes me too...yuck haha :)
I like the TAAJ cleanser a lot!! I hope it will be easy enough to buy in the UK, as otherwise it's a bit pointless getting it in the box! Lol x
ReplyDeleteHaha yeah I was thinking the same haha!
