This week should really be called Sunday Shopping the Stash condensed
as I have been really strict in my choices and I am determined to stick to them.

Benefit Bella Bamba Blush
I feel the need for a pinky blush this week and Bella Bamba is my fail safe.
It has a slightly shimmery finish so I don't feel the need to add a highlight,
it wears well and gives a beautiful flush of pretty pinkness what is not to like?

Urban Naked 2 Decay Palette - link
I have featured the Naked 2 palette a few times in my "shop"
but truth be told I never fully utilized it and leaned on my other eye choices for the week.
Well not this week as it is my only eyeshadow choice and if I don't get fair usage out of it,
i'm afraid I shall have to let it go.
Mac Paint Pot in Painterly - link
A really great neutral base that works with all the shades in the Naked 2 palette
and as a simple wash of colour.
A staple in my make-up bag and one that I always recommend.
Benefit They're Real Mascara - link
This is my second tube and it really is a fabulous mascara.
Lips
Maybelline Moisture Extreme Lipstick in Windsor Rose
A lovely dupe for Mac Angel but without any drying and a hit of a glossy finish.
Such an easy shade to wear for any occasion day or night, quickly becoming a firm favourite.
L'Occitane Solid Perfume in Cherry Blossom
Great for topping up my scent throughout the day without the weight of carrying around a full bottle.
I'm rather enjoying the light spring scent of Cherry Blossom truth be told!
So that is my small stash for the week,
what have you chosen for the week ahead?
These all look great, love the blush x

Shopping the Stash sounds like such a great idea, it would be great for busy folk to have their makeup for the week to hand rather than rummaging through drawers bags. Plus it's a good way of using neglected products :) I've not tried the paint pots, do you use it in place of primer? x
ReplyDeletethanks lovely :) no I use it on top of a primer as an eyeshadow base :)
DeleteI've started following your example and doing this. It's making getting ready in the morning so much easier and quicker. Love Bella Bamba too!
ReplyDeleteyay :) I hope you are enjoying it?
DeleteThanks it is such a pretty blush :)
That's actually a really good idea, it kicks you in the bum to use products you've neglected aha xx
ReplyDeletehaha that is exactly it :)
DeleteI really need to buy that Naked 2 palette!
ReplyDeleteIn all honesty it is not that great :(
DeleteReally want to try painterly... It looks really useful :) x
ReplyDeleteug-lily.blogspot.com
It honestly is :)
DeleteI'm trying to use my neglected products too x this week I'll be using tarte exposed , my loreal foundation, my endless testers of mac zoom mascara, and my no 17 eyeshadow trio x
ReplyDeleteoh wonderful choices :) particularly the blush!
DeleteHmmm I'm in two minds about selling my Naked 2 Palette :/ I just never reach for it and the shades don't particularly excite me nor does the pigmentation! "Bella Bamba" looks gorgeous though X
ReplyDeletethat is how I feel It was so over hyped!
Deleteaww thank you :)
nice post, love blush :)
ReplyDeleteWow! Really small amount for this week! Good luck keeping to it! I couldn't

Oh, interesting to hear about your thoughts on the Naked2. I just heard good stuff about it everywhere, but then again, I don't want to spend a fortune on a Naked2 if I'm all happy with my MUA Heaven&Earth palette :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for mentioning the Maybelline Moisture Extreme Lipstick. I'm not a lipstick kind of girl (because I'm afraid of looking too pale or just weird), but I was looking for a neutral/rosé kind of shade and I think I found the perfect match now :)
Hmm this is a good idea! I use painterly every single day without fail (mind I bought it that day in Glasgow!), I loooove it! x
ReplyDeleteI've used my Naked 2 more in the last few weeks than I used the Naked 1 in months of use. But I think the two palettes suit different skin tones - despite both being "neutral." Lovely picks!
