I'm going to let the photographs do the talking mostly as I don't feel the need to go into great detail.
Like all Mac lipsticks this has a soft vanilla scent that is not detectable once on the lips.
Perfect Day is a Amplified formula which means it has high colour pay off in one clean swipe!
It feels moisturising on the lips with a glossy finish, a really lovely formula.
I typically get around three hours from Mac Amplified formulas.
Mac Perfect Day is described as "a light neutral pink" which I agree with to some degree
but think it is best to say it is a pink based nude and of course such a pretty natural shade.
It is really flattering and a shade I see flying out the stores!
I'd actually be shocked if this doesn't sell out in all honesty
as it is the stand out shade out of all four lipstick shades!

ReplyDeleteThis is the lipstick I want from the collection, but on temptalia, it really doesn't look pink based, and I'm so pale nudes totally wash me out! Is it definately quite pink? I'm worried it'll be another nude that washes me out :( x

DeleteI think it is one of those shades depending on your natural lip colour it can lean pink or nude.
Christine has more pigmented lips that I so I think that is why it looks more nude on her than it does me :) so depending on your natural lips it will sway more one way than the other : pale lips - pink, pigmented lips - nude.

Four brothers and two sisters, we have a lot of random stuff in the house haha! The deck chair is from a dolls house, the sand is building sand that is my grandads and the cocktail umbrella was in a pack in the back of a cupboard..I got lucky :)

ReplyDeleteNot drying at all :) I find the formula to be similar to cremesheens (I made a little mistake earlier and actually listed this as a cremesheen) so quite moisturising :) x
