John Frieda Full Repair Full Body Deep Conditioner - Review

It is very seldom I rave about hair care
but John Frieda Full Repair Full Body Deep Conditioner is worth shouting from the roof tops about!
Not only does it do what it promise but it is a snip at £5.99 for 150ml!

The light weight conditioning treatment is packed with Incha Inchi Oil that penetrates deeply
and restores damaged and over styled hair not only to touch but to look at too!
It also helps prevent future hair breakages and is safe for colour treated hair.

The entire Full Repair Full Body range is packaged in deep red tubes and tubs
making it easy to spot when shopping for such products.
John Frieda Full Repair Full Body Deep Conditioner comes in a screw top tub
that is extremely sturdy...trust me I dropped this is the shower and nothing cracked or spilled.
For a non salon brand I feel this looks much more expensive than it actually is,
the frosted plastic aspect only heightens that in my eyes!

The conditioner itself is actually quite thin and runny so use small amounts at a time
to avoid it slipping out of your hands and becoming waste...again experience talking here!
Once applied to the hair it feels pretty much like a typical conditioner with a lovely fresh scent
but for best results you should leave this on for up to 10 minutes!
I normally leave it on for as long as I can suffer
and then rise as the ends of my hair need all the help possible.
Once rinsed you will instantly feel how soft it has left your hair, the results are evident from the first wash.

I have now used over half of this tub and my hair feels like silk, so much so that hair bands slide out!
Annoying when you are trying to have a hair up kind of day but it is the price I will happily pay
for shiny, glossy locks!

It is so much more glossy and has a health shine that a few have commented on.
It feels and looks healthier, the dry ends of my hair look repaired slightly and don't feel as dry
nor do they look as damaged as they once did.
I have been using this in conjunction with the rest of the John Frieda Full Repair Full Body collection
which I will report on soon but this for me is the star product!

Have you tried anything from the John Frieda Full Repair Full Body line?

  1. I am thinking about buying one of these deep conditioners or a hair mask, but I am not sure about which one to buy, but this one looks quite interesting!

  2. So far, I haven't been impressed with John Frieda products, because they were all silicone bombs that weighed my hair down and ended up making it look dull (I've tried the brilliant brunette and another "shine" series).

Is this treatment also full of silicones or is the inchi oil actually the main ingredient?

    1. Ah sorry to hear that, i'm not completely sure about the silicon issue would you like a list of ingredients?

  3. I'm using the shampoo to this range and it actually weighed down my hair and made my roots feel greasy even though I washed it out properly! So i wasn't too pleased :( but I'm still tempted to try this conditioner as it is runnier than the shampoo xxx

    1. Aww that sucks :( maybe your hair isn't damaged and doesn't need all the extra moisture :)
The treatment is really thin and lightweight but did my ends the world of good :)

  11. John Frieda! Back in middle school I fancied the line so~ Mostly because my family wouldn't let me buy it. Now that I think about it - I haven't even used any of their stuff now that I can. Haha.

  14. I'm currently using both the shampoo and conditioner, and also bought the 'root lift foam' and this deep repair conditioner (boots currently have an offer of 2 for £7 which is a bargain when they're all apprix £5.99!). So far I've only used the shampoo & conditioner, and 'root lift foam' and I love them all! Going to try this deep repair conditioner tonight :)

  19. I too had quite a lot of spillage from the type of container it is in - the container looks fab but being able to scoop it out requires a lot of practice and not to be too overzealous with it!
