Glossy Box February 2012

This months Glossy Box is aimed at providing essentials for London Fashion Week,
which I am a little gutted that I couldn't make but never mind I have Big Cat Week - haha lame!
I know there have been grumbles about this months box, particularly about there being a repeat product?
I have no idea but I can see both sides of the argument and now that I have had a little think about the box
I can truly see where Glossy Box are coming from in terms of the product choices.

I feel the concept behind this box was to provide travel friendly "safe" products,
as when most people attend events such as LFW they tend to travel from out of town.
By this I mean a range of items that will universally suit skin tones and skin types,
I haven't reviewed each product but I will briefly explain how they could be used as a travel essential!

Paul Mitchell Round Trip - Liquid Curl definer
A great product for packing in a case as let's be honest who can be bothered to always dry their hair?
A few quick spritz's of this and some hair scrunching and you will have defined waves or curls
depending on your hair type, it also helps to cut down drying time.
I'm casting this aside for my upcoming holidays...hello easy beach hair!

18-in-1 Hemp Rose Pure-Castile Soap
As mentioned this has 18 uses so what could be better for any travel emergencies?
You can use it to cleanse, as a bubble bath, hand sanitizer and to clean any minor clothing stains.
Not that you should have to but it could also be used to sanitize a less than sanitary hotel room.
A great little bottle of liquid to have for those just in case moments.

Invigorate Lotion
Pretty self explanatory really you use it to moisturise your body and hands.
It's a nice size for travel and smells nice and zesty.

DuWop Venom Lip Gloss in Buttercup
A nude toned lip plumper, small in size but a universally pretty shade that should suit most.
It can be used on it's own to provide a light nude glossy glow while plumping your lips
or layered over another lip colour to create your own custom colour.

BM Beauty Mineral Pigment Eyeshadow in Noir
The great thing about a black pigment is that it can be utilize in a large variety of ways,
you can of course use it as a black shadow on it's own or with other shades to create a smoky look,
you can mix it with water or a mixing medium to create a black liner
or you can mix the pigment into other colours to create a custom deep shade.
I do feel that everyone should own a black pigment to make the most out of their stash,
messy as they may be!
