Clinique Blushing Blush Powder Blushes won an award for being the best blusher
as voted by The Sunday Times so naturally I wanted to put the formula to the test!
I'm always intrigued by award winning products aren't you?
Clinique Blushing Blush Powder Blushes come beautifully presented in a chrome
and transparent plastic compact with is as sturdy as it is pretty.
Housed inside along with the blush is a sizeable mirror and a "custom sculpting brush".
The brush is really soft and angled, as good a complimentary brush I have ever encountered
with any beauty product I have reviewed and or purchased.
Precious Posy is officially listed as "An energetic pink peach with gold pearl"
which is pretty much on the money!
It is a bright mid toned warm pink with a shot of coral running through out.
Precious Posy also has a slight golden shimmer which adds a highlighting element.
It should be noted that the shimmer is not gritty glitter but finely milled pearl accent.
I guess the shade is some what similar to Nars Orgasm but I wouldn't call them dupes
and I would go as far as saying Precious Posy is the more flattering and pleasing shade of the two!
One for coral blush lovers for sure.
I found the formula of Clinique Blushing Blush Powder Blush to be finely milled,
soft to the touch and highly pigmented.
The colour pay off is incredible so I wouldn't imagine deeper skin tones having any difficulties
in terms of getting the shade to show up, nor should it appear ashen.
It applies well and evenly with minimal effort this also applies when it comes to blending.
The formula is oil free making it great for all skin type, now would be a good type to mention it is
also fragrance free to boot so sensitive skins can rejoice!
In terms of wear this formula lasted 8 hours with ease all the while feeling light on the skin.

DeleteWhat a pretty blush, the colour looks absolutely gorgeous! You said that this colour is more flattering than NARS Orgasm (I've not tried that blush, but I'm a huge fan of corals), do you think it would be flattering on a fair skin tone, I ask because it looks so pretty! xo

thanks so much :)
DeleteI personally love Clinique's products because they are allergy and fragrance free! I've had my fair share of skin reactions over the years because of brands that didn't preach their own words, but Clinique never failed me. :)
ReplyDeleteI agree the products are so well formulated :) and really don't irritate the skin :)
