On paper this is my dream shade, bright Malibu Barbie pink that is just the right level of neon.
But that was until I realised it was matte in formula and applied super patchy.
My swatches are after 3 coats and although the photographs don't fully show the streaks,
they are very much alive and present.
The matte aspect I can get over, a quick coat of clear glossy top coat and good to go
but that does not fix the streaky element.
In terms of wear without a top coat this chipped almost instantly.
All in all not the best shade I have encountered by China Glaze!

DeleteI posted about this today too! Neon shades do tend to be a little streaky but if applied in thin layers I don't find it too bad :)

ReplyDeleteI've had this on my to buy list for months but I'm not so keen now that you have mentioned it is matte and difficult to work with.
ReplyDeleteThis was the colour I have been looking for for MONTHS. I thought I may have gotten a dude batch but I guess not. I was also disappointed with the streaky matte finish and the fact that it just flaked off. Even when I did put a top coat on, it only prolonged the polish from chipping for a short period of time. I'm definitely going to have to find another similar colour. So disappointed.
