I'll begin by explaining that I have six...yes six different job interviews this upcoming week,
so a few of my choices are tried and tested choices. A job interview isn't the best atmosphere to show case that new bright pink lippy after all!
Face
L'oreal True Match foundation is too dark, Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum is too light
but combined I can mix a shade true to my natural skin tone yet the coverage is a little to full
so I add a small drop of Accessorize Liquid highlighter to illuminate and water down the constancy a little.Yes it is a bit of a hassle when you are half awake but the results are worth it.
Eyes
I am determined to make my Naked 2 palette work for me but I'm not overly enamoured by it.
I have choose Mac Painterly as my base which I fall in love with more as each day passes,
such a great every day base and one I can't believe I have went without for so long!
A few liners in-case I am pushed for time and don't have the patience to rustle up a look in the morning.Avon Supershock Gel Liner has to be one of the best Black pencil liners I have ever used
and I like New C-id gel liner trio as it has great lasting power not to mention none of the shades are
each a great deep choice of colour without going done the typical black liner route.
Benefit They're Real Mascara and 17 eyebrow pencil are pretty self explanatory really.
Blush
One blush suits all this week. My Benefit Bella Bamba has seen better days but my love still runs true and deep haha! The great thing about this watermelon pink blush is that it highlights as well as adding a pretty flush of colour.
Lips
Only two choices this week, my lips are pretty large so I try to play them down rather than up. Revlon Fashion Night Pout is a pretty nude and helps to minimise my lips making them less a focus.
Korres Lip Butter in Mango I really enjoy the light coral glossy yet non-sticky tint this leaves
so much so I have ordered a few more of the same variety...oops!
And there we have it another weeks choices down.

DeleteGreat picks! I'm going to try and resist Naked 2, because I own the original and hardly ever touch it - we'll see how that goes though, the urge to own it is bizarrely strong.

haha I hope you over come the urge but if it becomes too strong wait until it goes in store then have a swatch or 12 before you buy that may help :)

Good luck with your interviews! Despite being an Avon regular I haven't come across the gel eyeliner pencil (clearly not looking hard enough), but how what's the difference between that and a kohl pencil/gel pot? xx
ReplyDeleteThank you :) ah maybe they have been discontinued? I know they were in the Christmas book but sadly my avon rep quit! In my experience standard eyeliners and khol pencils really don't fair well throughout the day but gel liners do, gel liners are also sofer and so much easier to apply :) hope this helps x
