I did plan on using a stormy type theme for this post but through fear of the lipstick or myself blowing away, I had to refrain. Maybe when the weather calms down and does threaten to uproot me, I'll be able to snap outside once again...maybe haha!
We all know the drill with Revlon Matte Lipsticks by now, so I'll keep it short and sweet. All Revlon Matte shades come packaged in matte black casing and are unscented. They are typically well pigmented and last around four hours with ease. Although they are matte they don't dry or chap the lips and are light to wear. If you do have any problems with them drying out your lips, apply a lit coat of balm, blot off and apply the lipstick on top. That way you'll have a thin veil of moisture but won't jeopardise the matte finish.
Revlon Stormy Pink is a typical bright candy pink shade in bullet form that really does not look all that original in terms of colour. In bullet form I liken it to the likes of Mac St Germaine/Pink Friday etc. That being said most pink's of this tone tend to be glossy and never matte finish. However once applied and swatched you can see it is more of a powder pink with a slight lilac undertone which is unusual. Stormy Pink does not look stark or bold at all but muted and grown up
due to it being matte formulated. I really like this shade of pink, it subtle yet adds a light pop of colour to the lips and I hope to rotate it into my everyday make-up routine.

This is much pinker, but the lilac and the finish make me think of MAC's Pink Plaid. I love this shade on certain complexions but it tends to wash me out.
