Revlon Matte Lipstick in Pink About It Review

First of all let me apologise for posting about what is now a discountinued shade

but in my defense it is a beautiful shade and super easy and cheap to source on eBay

so all is not a loss!

As this is the final shade I have to swatch and review of Revlon Matte lipsticks

not only can you breathe a sigh of relief but also look forward to a Revlon Matte swatch gallery!

Pink About It has a strong yellow undertone resulting in the shade being fairly neutral.

I guess it is somewhat close to the coral colour family.

It reminds me a little of a matte version of Mac Impassioned

and is a great alternative to a bright red lipstick

yet has all the impact and wow factor of such colour.

I have seen this on light, medium and dark skin tones

and can safely say it looks wonderful on all

so why discontinue it Revlon?

 Now to quickly summarise on the Revlon Matte formulas.

Generally speaking all Revlon Matte lipsticks feel light on the lips yet have a matte appearance.

They are not the most drying of matte formula's yet if you feel this may be an issue you can apply

a light coat of balm before application and as long as you blot it off 

before applying you will not jeopardise the matte finish.

I don't personally use balm as I find them comfortable to wear without any added moisture.

They typically wear for around four hours without needing touched up,

the deeper shades do fair better with a lip liner although that is not totally necessary.

Product Summary

Round Up - A bright yellow based bold pink.

Best For - Those who want a change of pace from boring pink hues.

Pigmentation - 8/10 I think if it was any more pigmented it would alter the shade.

Availability - Like I said this is discontinued but easy to pick up on eBay, 

I bought mine for £3.50 inclusive of p&p.
