Purity Anti-Ageing Serum & Mask - Review

Not many products can claim to be against animal testing, Eco friendly,
kind to sensitive skin, fragrance free, paraben free and organic.
I'm sure you agree that this no easy task
yet the Purity Skin Care range ticks every single box!

The packaging is clean, simple and basic.
The mask/serum comes in a semi transparent screw lid jar that is air tight
and completely recyclable wither you put it out for recyclement
or use it to store your own little knick knacks.

The idea of this treatment is to boost your skins natural processes
and is designed to improve and protect the skin.
The serum/mask is completely scent free but is packed with natural ingredients
such as Cranberry Seed Oil, Omega 3,6,and 9 which assist in adding moisture to the skin.
Rose water to tone the skin and Vitamin E to antioxidize the skin.

The serum/mask is a light clear jelly like substance that you smooth over the face
and leave for 10 minutes if you are using it as a facial mask treatment.
However you can also use this as a intensive serum by applying in the same way
only you do not remove it you leave it on the skin to work it's magic!
Should you utilize it in this way I suggest you apply a thinner layer
than you would if applying as in the mask method.

I have been using this as a night time serum as I find traditional night creams too heavy
and my skin seems to struggle with such level of moisturisation.
This on the other hand leaves my skin feeling soft and subtle without turning to grease,
it did not leave a layer of grime like some treatments nor did it irritate my skin.
If like I you suffer from oily skin and find night creams too thick,
I suggest trying this serum as it gives a light barrier of moisture without overwhelming the skin,
making it a great choice for young skin types as well as oily skin types.
I feel this would best benefit normal/dry skins as a weekly face mask.
I can not comment on the anti-ageing element as of yet but it does certainly tighten the skin.

Purity Anti-Ageing Serum & Mask costs £8.99 for 50ml - link

  2. This looks lovely, I much prefer watery or jelly-like masks to heavy ones. My worst hate has got to be mud masks, though - worst mess ever, I get them everywhere!
