NYX Terracotta Blush

NYX is not a brand I have fully explored,
from what I have tested - mainly the lipsticks I have enjoyed
but as it is fairly difficult to source in the U.K I don't have much of an opinion of the brand.

The blush comes packaged in a rounded edge square compact
that is glossy black with a transparent window that displays the shade inside.
Honestly it does look and feel quite cheap but that is often the case
with lower end and drugstore branded cosmetics.
That being said it protects the item and if the packaging really bothers you,
you can always depot the blush.

NYX Terracotta Blush

Terracotta is a warm peach shade that has a slight tint of bronze
and is close to a Mac Frost blush in terms of formula.
It also has a shot of golden shimmer throughout.
While we are on the subject of Mac blushes this is known in the beauty blogging world
as a close dupe for Mac Sunbasque blush and I can confirm that the shades
are in-fact almost identical in shade and finish.

NYX Terracotta Blush

NYX Terracotta blush is finely milled and well pressed,
one swipe of the shade reveals that not only is it soft to the touch but also very pigmented.
As I earlier mentioned Terracotta is a 'frost' finish so it does have a light golden shimmer aspect
but the shimmer is very fine and will cause no problems in terms of fine lines and enlarged pores.
I found Terracotta to apply well and evenly, it blended like a dream
and as it has a light shimmer aspect there is no need to use a highlighting product with it.
In terms of wear I survived an 8hour day with ease
but I would like to stress that I did prep and prime my skin before hand
so your results may vary depending on application and skin type.

All in all a really great budget buy blush and one that I would more than consider
repurchasing in various other shades from the line.
