Believe it or not this is my first ever Nubar nail polish!
Better late than never I say and what better shade to start with than Mod Aqua.
Ignore the label on the bottom that has deemed it "Mod Agua",
I do believe that is a spelling boo boo is the official images and info are anything to go by.
The Polished Chic line was Nubar's Fall 2011 collection
but don't let that put you off as there is a few shades that are suited to spring.
Take for instance Mod Aqua which is a cool toned milky duck egg blue,
it is almost mint green but it does have a shot of blue which makes it slightly aqua in reality.
If you like fresh pastel shades this is one to investigate for yourself!
The finish is crème so the coverage is 100% opaque after two coats
and once dry (which it does quickly) it has a slightly glossy finish.
I have wore this the last two days with no top coat (I'm a lazy bint)
and can report that it hasn't as much as chipped at the tips, which is good going.
The thing I like most about this polish shade aside is the brush handle.
it is soft moulded rubber that is easy to grip, which makes application oh so easy.
Have you tried Nubar polishes - I'm guessing yes haha!
If so what shades would you recommend?
Nubar polishes are officially stocked by www.beautyshed.co.uk
and this particular shade retails for £5.50/15ml
I love your new layout, and this is a great colour!

This colour is cute and spring-summery! How long does Nubar tend to last before chipping? I've never tried it before! *shock horror!*

haha nope just had a little make-over but thank you for noticing :)
DeleteIve never tried Nubar polishes before may have to give them a try. I'm stuck in a OPI rut so will be nice to try something different. I've got a very similar colour by China Glaze called For Audrey that I've just bought for the Spring. Xx

You should I have now had this shade on for 5 days and not a chip in sight :) I do that all the time I had a huge collection of OPI and just got rid of them as I didn't think they warranted £11 a bottle. For audrey is beautiful :)
Delete:D Don't worry. You're way ahead of the curve when it comes to me. I haven't even tried OPI yet 8D;;;;;; One pretty thing at a time.
