I am very much a Tangle Teaser convert
but you have to admit you still need a good ol' fashion hair brush
for styling and blow drying your tresses
unless you enjoy melted plastic fumes?
I have used various brands of brushes in my time
but I do favour Denman brushes, they are the hairdressers choice don't you know?
That's probably why it may look familiar as it is more than likely that your hairdresser
owns and uses a good few of these on you and their clients.
If it is good enough for a professional it is good enough for me!
"The Denman Classic D3 Styling Brush comes in saucy red, complete with black 'lipstick kiss' prints.
It has an anti-static rubber pad to provide maximum grip and control during blow-drying for smoothing,
shaping and polishing the hair. Want sexy hair? Choose Denman!"
*the lip print styles are limited edition.
Now I have thick wavy almost curly hair that is a complete nightmare not mention frizzy at times
this brush is quite heavy so it glides through my unruly hair with ease
and as it is anti-static it does not contribute to my frizz problems,
I know fine hair also has static problems so this may be a saviour for such types.
I use this mainly to blow dry my hair straight and it does so rather easily,
it grips and keeps the hair taunt allowing me to quickly dry my hair straight.
Denman brushes last for years if treated properly, I have owned this one
since I was an early teenager and it still looks brand new.
So if you are going to invest in a new hairbrush you can do much worse than a Denman.
You can pick up your limited edition D3 Lip print brush for £7.31.

DeleteI dont use brushes, I always use comb! thanks for sharing it looks cute
ReplyDeleteAh combs do nothing for my hair sadly, thank you it is :)x
DeleteVery cute :) Would buy it in a heartbeat but I don't think they sell over here.
ReplyDeleteahh that sucks :( I hate when that happens! x
DeleteThis looks lovely, and I am desperate for a new brush, now to decide Denam or Tangle Teaser?! xx
ReplyDeleteHmm decisions decisions haha! Tangle teasers melt with heat so it depends what you need it to do :) x
DeleteI love Denman brushes, and like you have been using them for years. They are really well-priced too, especially for someone like me who has a habit of losing hair brushes constantly!

I should start using better brushes. I tend to use generic ones that are probably not great for my hair or scalp. ; _ ; So irresponsible of me!
ReplyDeleteI thought for some reason these brushes would be more expensive. This comes at a perfect time as well, as my old hairbrush is sort of dying on me. Now I won't have to spend ages staring at hair brushes trying to figure out the difference and picking one!
