Shall I let you know a secret? Okay i'll spill if I have no plans for a Saturday night, I slip into my pjs, slap on a face mask and critique x-factor pretending I am Simon Cowell (no I don't pull my pj bottoms up to my arm pits, I'm not that dedicated to being Simon). I digress the point I'm attempting to make is how wonderful does it feel to slob out with a face mask on your face? Bliss springs to mind!
The last few weeks my face mask of choice has been which admittedly is extremely pricey retailing at £88.00 for 60ml. I completely understand that this is way out of many people price range or justification but they way I see it if you often visit spa's or get facials why not save up a few weeks and treat yourself at home. Another option is you and a few friends chip in together and have a pampering session at home?
Official Information -
- Sisley’s anti-ageing treatment mask is filled with trace elements and vitamins to restore the vitality and freshness of young skin. Its rose-scented creamy texture plumps and moisturises while acting efficiently on the traces of aging to providing instant softness. Skin is visibly smoother, signs of ageing fade away and facial features look rested; radiance is restored.
- Anti-ageing treatment mask
- Active ingredients act instantly on signs of ageing
- Trace elements vitamins and amino acids revitalise the epidermis
- Shea butter, Pro-Vitamin B 5 and vegetal glycerine moisturise
- 60ml
The mask obviously has a rose scent , I love rose scents but even if rose isn't something you enjoy you need not worry as the scent is so light and delicate that I doubt it will offend anyone's nose. The mask itself is a pale pink thick balm like cream that feels more like an upmarket moisturiser than facial mask. You apply a thick layer of this cream mask, sit back and relax for 15 minutes then blot of excess. Unlike other face masks this will not dry to a crispy layer but it settles into your skin allowing it to soak up all the benefits.
As I mentioned you do not wash this mask of after the 15 minutes has elapsed but blot of the excess so you can only imagine how soft your skin is after using this product. This mask claims to soothe, plump and brighten. It certainly does soothe the skin and really does brighten it, straight after use I can notice a massive difference not only is my skin so much softer but it looks brighter and rejuvenated. I can't comment on the plumping as I have no lines/wrinkles..yet!
Admittedly the price point of this product will put a few people off as not many consider a face mask to be an essential and I totally get that. I will say that my skin has most certainly benefited from it in the last month and that the 60ml tube has lasted longer than I thought it would. I will re-purchase this as I am on a skin care kick and have come to release that with quality you often have to pay that bit more!
You can but Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask from Harrods for £88.00/60ml - link
Do you use a face mask? If so what one do you use?

ReplyDeleteI love this one (did treat myself at Harvey Nics last time there was GWP on). Its a lovely mask and lasts for ages x
ReplyDeleteI love just relaxing with a nice face mask. I've been trying a few lately, but haven't found anything that really blew me away yet. As nice as this sounds the price tag does put me off quite a bit unfortunately.

@beauty balm - Arent GWP just the best haha! Glad you also enjoyed it! x
ReplyDelete@Chrissy - nothing better especially in the colder months :) yeah it is a little pricey but nice for a treat once in a while :) x
I use Cliniques moisture surge, it's like a moisturiser/5minute mask. It leaves my skin feeling so good! I will be doing exactly the same this weekend! Love it :) xxx
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of this brand but I love the idea of a rose Cream mask. I'm definitely interested. Winter is so hard on my skin ; _ ;
ReplyDelete@jennifer - I use that too somehow I lean more on it in the summer months...odd that haha! x
ReplyDelete@eden - Oh me too I have dry skin on my cheeks that is gonna need sanded off soon...gahh! x

@amber-rose - hey! aw thank you :) I also use soap and glory the pore peel mask which is fab :) I think it retails for less than £10? x
ReplyDeleteOi flor eu vim aqui lê desejar uma ótima noite para você, beeijs!
ReplyDeleteSounds lovely! I have never heard of this product, but it's nice to read about something different. It's great that is has worked so well for your skin!
ReplyDeletethis sounds really great, I've seen with other raving review about but the price is just a bit much for me! It's kind of hard to splurge so much money on a product you've never heard of before! However, I do LOVE your idea about a few friends chipping in and getting the product and have a facial night!
ReplyDeleteI used that exact justification for buying Bliss's Oxygen mask yesterday; I bought it in a kit that cost £60, which is about one and a half facials worth....
