Illamasqua Jo'mina Nail Polish

This is the shade I have lusted over since the late summer. Luckily all the hint dropping has paid off and my beautiful cousin gifted it to me over Christmas. I can not see or hear the word Jo'mina without hearing Dolly Parton singing Jolene...

Illamasqua nail varnishes are pretty faultless well the price aspect aside. They apply well thanks to the large brush, the application is never streaky, the finish is always perfect (I gravitate towards the crème formula's) not to mention opaque in two coats and they wear exceptionally well, I'm talking a full 5-7 days with ease! The packaging I can take or leave, it doesn't irk me enough to complain yet I do find it rather bulky but completely different packaging wise to the rest of my stash so I guess it stands out amongst the others. I like that they each come packaged in a sleek black box but some may argue this is unnecessary and wasteful but like I said I'm indifferent. But yeah £13.50 for a bottle of nail polish certainly isn't cheap.

Jo'mina is a light purple shade with blue undertones and a crème formula that dries to a high sheen finish, a top coat is optional but advised to prolong the wear. I can not pin point why I have had this shade on my radar for song long? I mean let's be truthful it is not completely a unique shade off the top of my head I'd say Gosh Wild Lilac is pretty similar and I'm no nailista so there could well be better dupes out there!Yet I had to have this milky lilac shade in my possession, it was calling me...taunting me as I slept haha not quite but y'know.

Am I glad I have it? Yes! Are Illamasqua polishes worth the price? Yes but only the completely original shades...think Gamma etc! Why am I interviewing myself? I have no idea and will stop now.

Illamasqua nail polishes are £13.50 for 15ml.
