No7 Stay Perfect Polish - Milan Review

I've had this shade in the 'To Review' box for a while so shame on me for neglecting such a pretty pink shade that has the compulsory added extra for the festive season....glitter! And lots of it.
Dramatic re-enactment of the day Barbie and Ken discovered No.7 Milan (not really!).
Each time I see this shade I can help but think if Barbie was real this surely would be the shade that she would wear to parties non?

Milan is a metallic pink almost mauve shade that is jammed packed to the brim of tiny fine silver glitter particles that give it an overall foil finish. I have no problems with the formula it applies well, opaque in two coats, dries almost instantly and lasts at least 3 days without as much as tip wear. The brushes in No.7 polishes are wonderful they are just the right width and length and due to the slightly weighted handle it makes application a breeze. The shade always catches peoples attention as it it so much more metallic and sparkly in reality than my photos care to show.

The only problem that arises is when it comes to removal which is almost always the case with a glitter polish. I'm sure most like myself rely on the tinfoil trick to remove stubborn glitter polish but wouldn't it be great if someone could invent glitter polish minus the hassle?

Availability - Boots.com - link and Boots stores, £7 for 10ml so keep an eye out for any of the £5 off no7 vouchers Boots always seem to do!

  1. I love, love, love this colour! I got it in a gift set last Christmas, however, it chips almost immediately on my nails si I never wear it :( Maybe they've re-formulated it since...

  2. @lily- oh that is odd! Have you ever noticed though that sometimes minis or samples tend to be poorer quality than full sized products? Maybe that's what has happened? x
