Head Over Heels

After the success that Topshop Lip Polishes I decided to pop into Topshop and see what else caught my eye. Being the blush slut that I am my roaming eye well um roamed to the blushes and what did I find? A beautiful light peachy coral blush called Head Over Heels and that describes my feelings to the letter.

Head over heels is a cream to powder formula, which i'll admit I wasn't too keen on until I swatched it. Having really odd skin makes cream blushes a bit of a feat when it comes to application but this one was a complete joy to apply to my chipmunk-esque cheeks.

The colour payoff is absolutely amazing I mean one little swipe is all that was needed both to create my swatch and to actually apply. Like I mentioned it is a cream when you first apply it which gives you complete control of application. Let it dry for a few moments and bobs your uncle it has set to a powder finish but don't worry it in no way dries to an ashy powder finish the overall result is somewhat dewy. No face photos today as my skin is completely broken out due to stress haha!

Topshop have really impressed me on the make-up front again, this little wonder costs £6 and really does last all day (even on oil slick skins like myself) and so little of the product is required that this really will last for a long, long while! My only grumble is the white packaging, which doesn't stay white for too long!

Have you found any favourites in the Topshop make up line yet?

  2. Topshop Blushes are my all-time favourite blushes, i love the formulation! I have this, Neon Rose and Nutmeg. I love all of them but Nutmeg is my go-to, its such a natural flush. I wish they had a much wider colour range though :( xx

  4. I'm still trying to figure out what Topshop is exactly. Their US website allows a limited (VERY limited) selection of makeup and tons of clothes and such.

ANYWAY. Yes to this blush. The color, pigmentation and (duhr) the lack of super sparkle make me want. AND it's one of the few shades you can buy from the Topshop US website!

  5. I havnt actually brought any topshop makeup :O I always go in and swatch them but always end up spending my money on the clothes in the shop and never pick up any of the makeup products. So next time I am going to walk past all of the clothes without stopping to look and pick up some of the makeup as I have heard a lot of good things about the blushes and lipsticks :D
